We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Climbers / Arborists. KPS works with commercial, council and residential customers; work ranges from small pruning jobs to large scale tree removal projects. This position is suitable for someone who has a wealth of experience in Arboriculture, looking to step up, lead a team and make a difference.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to always display professional and friendly attitude and be a team player.

You must have a full UK driving licence and ideally a CSCS card.

Key Responsibilities:

• All aspects of general arborist works
• Liaising with tree officers / general public/ customers
• Liaising with the KPS workshop regarding equipment / vehicle maintenance
• Keeping your vehicle and all tools clean and well maintained
• Wearing KPS PPE at all times whilst working/on site and in the yard
• To work as part of a team, ensure good team spirit with an enthusiastic approach.

Required Skills:

• At least 3 years’ experience climbing
• Ability to identify Risks and Hazards
• NPTC Certificates – desirable CS30, CS31, CS36, CS38, CS39

This is a full-time and permanent position, 40 or 45 hours per week, Mon – Fri .

KPS is looking for a qualified HGV driver, with HIAB, to take on deliveries of our products. This role is a busy position and will mainly involve delivery of compost/soil and collection of green waste. We are looking for someone reliable and a team player. This role is currently needed on a temporary basis for 3 – 6 months to support us during our busiest period.

Essential: HGV Class 2, HIAB, CPC, Clean UK driving licence, a minimum 1 years’ experience HGV driving
Desirable: HGV Class 1

About KPS

KPS Composting is a small, family business based in Isfield, East Sussex. We are manufacturers and suppliers of landscaping products, including topsoil, woodland mulch, and bark. We also offer a green recycling services and mobile composting. Whilst you will be driving company vehicles during the day, you will need your own transport in order to get to work our site is in rural setting with no public transport.

This is a full-time, temporary position for around 3-6 months,  45 hours per week, Mon – Fri. Some weekend work may be available and overtime will be paid.
